NIVELCO

The joint-stock company Nivelco Process Control Company is a dynamically developing Hungarian company that produces equipment designed for measuring the level of bulk and liquid media.

The main direction for the company Nivelco is the production and sale of continuous level measurement and limit point control level converters, temperature indicators, liquid flow measurement and pressure measuring devices. The company “Nivelco” tries to provide its customers with a complete system and therefore offers additional tools such as power supplies, regulators, control systems, meters, recorders, etc.

The company JSC “NIVELCO” was established in 1982 on the basis of the family business of Mr. Endre Szöllös, founded back in 1939. Now the traditions of the company are continued by his son, Tamás Szöllös, the president of the company. Today, NIVELCO is a company of 200 people, which, thanks to its international experience, has produced and sold more than a million devices of its own design in more than 70 countries around the world.

1986 The product line was expanded with a capacitive level sensor
1988 Deliveries of Nivoswitch and Nivocont R vibration level switches began
1989 A new class of production: presentation of the first compact ultrasonic level sensor — NIVELCO enters the world market
1993 Expansion of the product family — an ultrasonic level sensor model appears, used for measuring the level of solid bulk substances
1994 Production of Nivomag and Nivopoint magnetic float switches began
1995 Introduction of the ISO 9001 system, NIVELCO-POLAND Sp. z o.o.», a subsidiary in Poland
1996 Vibrating level switches appear in the product range
1997 Expansion of the ultrasonic level sensor family for solid materials with a high-power device
1999 The hydrostatic level transmitter of the NivoPress series opens up new sales markets
2000 Under the brand name «EchoTREK», the company introduces a new model of ultrasonic level sensor
2002 The company creates level sensors with the possibility of using the «HART» communication system
2003 Contactless microwave—radar—level transmitters, not yet of its own production, appear in the product range
2004 The «Multicont» type controller with the «HART» communication system appears, allowing the creation of the concept of a dual-frequency system «NIVELCO», «NIVELCO BOHEMIA s.r.o.», a subsidiary in the Czech Republic, is created
2005 The product range is expanded with a family of compact ultrasonic devices called «EasyTREK» without indicator, with the protection class “IP68”, created “SC NIVELCO Tehnica Măsurării SRL”, a subsidiary in Romania
2006 “NIVELCO” will start production of accompanying microwave – radar – level converters
2010 Started production of magnetostrictive level meters NivoTRACK with a large measurement range of up to 15 meters.
2011 Serial production of the float magnetic level indicator with a bypass chamber NIVOFLIP
2012 Serial production and delivery of radar level meters of the PiloTREK W-100 series
