KEB

Karl E. Brinkmann GmbH is a German company, better known as KEB, which began its operations in 1972 in Barntrup (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company, with only 6 employees, was engaged in the design and production of electromagnetic clutches and brakes. Since 1993, KEB has been producing its own geared motors.

Currently, KEB has production facilities in Germany, Japan, the USA and China. Every year, the company produces more than 150 thousand frequency converters and servo control devices, about 300 thousand electromagnetic clutches and brakes, more than 50 thousand geared motors.

KEB manufactures the following types of geared motors:

• bevel helical gearboxes,
• cylindrical gearboxes,
• cylindrical helical gearboxes,
• cylindrical shaft-mounted gearboxes,
• worm-helical gearboxes.

In addition, the company is proud of the spring electromagnetic brakes, permanent magnet brakes and clutch-brake combinations that it has designed and manufactured.

KEB is an expert in the fields of drive and control electronics, motor and gear motor manufacturing and magnetic technology.
